Thursday, March 4th, 2010Being a juice enthusiast, I am very interested in the juicer machines which are currently very popular. Jack Lalanne juicer machines are always in demand. How do they perform? The truth is, these models are not for the real juice afficionado. They are lower priced models. The Elite model is $200. That may seem a lot of money to pay for a juicer, but in reality, many people pay $500 for a Greenstar or the equivalent high end models, Jacks juicers are very good for the price range. The main gripe people have is the short life of the fixing screw which is made of plastic and does break. I believe the better models have a metal screw anyway. The mesh filter is plastic in the entry level model so go one up at least and opt for a wire mesh filter which is far more robust. On the whole the Jack Lalanne juicer is very good value for money and a great first buy.
