Coffee making Tips

Tuesday, October 11th, 2011

Cappuccino coffee, originally an Italian coffee drink is no longer the pleasure of Italians alone. Millions around the world now enjoy this exciting drink. Cappuccino coffee is prepared using hot milk and of course the main ingredient expresso.

Usually, the drink is served in porcelain cups to allow for a much better heat-retention capability as opposed to those of glass or paper. The foam that forms at the top of the drink also has heat retention capabilities and act as an insulator retaining heat longer.

The texture and temperature of the milk are also considered important elements as well when preparing a cup of cappucino, the milk is poured into the espresso.

The milk has to be hot foamed and the various variations and thickness of the milk give rise to some cappuccino varieties with such names as white cappuccino and cappuccino scuro or dark cappuccino. It is therefore very important to take note of the milk.

The fact that the milk has to be steamed just right makes cappuccino coffee preparation one of the most difficult things to do.

However there is an easy way to make that perfect creamy milk, simply by buying a Nespresso Aeroccino Plus milk frother! it makes the perfect capuccino milk every time.

If you too drink lattes from coffee shops on a daily basis or are just tired of dealing with the hassle, an espresso machine for your home is perfect, a recommended machine is the Nespresso Citiz C120 .

My only advice is to do your shopping around before selecting, always check reviews and prices first.

First of all these are coffee beans. Espresso beans and coffee beans differ just slightly. The espresso beans is a blend of several kinds of coffee beans that comes from different countries around the World. Besides, coffee Robusta are most frequently used for espresso blend. Coffee beans for espresso are roasted until they are fairly dark and look oily.

There are two main differences between espresso and coffee. The first difference is the fineness of the grind. The grind for espresso is more fineness than for coffee. The second essential difference between these two beverages is the brewing time which is much shorter for an espresso. As well the ground coffee for espresso is tightly tamped with pressure in filter basket while for coffee it is not packed at all.

Correct brewing temperature is significant to caramelize the sugars in the ground coffee to make the correct crema on the top of your shot. The optimal water temperature is around 200 degrees (F). Many manufacturers offer machines with separate boilers; one for steam generation and other for espresso brewing. Espresso making appliances with two boilers definitely are preferable because they can heat water for steaming to a higher temperature than is needed for optimal temperature range for espresso brewing. These two different boilers are able to provide this difference in temperature needed for different processes.

At the beginning, you will have to acquiesce with period of errors and mistakes but after a little time of practice everyone can learn and master the espresso brewing features.

Major brands like Senseo and Starbucks have decaf coffee pods, there’s even decaf espresso pods. Though personally when I do espresso I go for the high octane but like anything else it’s always boils down to personal taste.

Save Money Using A Home Capresso Espresso Machines

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

Just as coffee became extra popular, so has espresso machines of all shapes and sizes. It’s not simply about massive coffee grinders and commercial grade espresso machines for businesses anymore. Now you can choose from a variety of capresso espresso machines and other great brands for the home. Let’s do a little math. Ponder for a moment how much you spend on coffee every day at the local coffee shop. More than likely, you fork out anywhere from two to five dollars on a single caffeinated beverage. But what if you get that java fix more than once each day. We’ll assume for a moment that you spend four dollars on your favorite latte. If you’re getting it twice each day, that’s eight dollars a day. Now let’s multiply that times five days a week. Now you have 40 dollars. If you purchase coffee or espresso drinks on the weekends as well, that number just went up. It would be much cheaper to invest in a capresso espresso machines.

Coffee Beans

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009

check out this interesting article about Coffee Beans, it’s quite informative and entertaining for anybody who love coffee like me!

“In order to grind your own coffee beans, you have to have a grinder. These can be rather inexpensive. Though there are ones that slice, the burr variety is much better. However, both work well. Grind the beans in short bursts until it resembles the coffee grounds you get out of a pre-ground package. Use the same amount of grounds as you would normally use for your coffee……….”
