The Tassimo Coffee Maker uses a really smart disc know as a t-disc that has a bar code imprinted on the label and the machine scans this to determine exactly how much water is needed, the precise tempurature, and brew time required. You can make cappuccino, espresso, hot chocolate, tea and regular coffee and other beverages without any thought to measuring or programming, it’s all done once you insert the t-disc!
