Most everyone that I have talked to that does not like coffee said that it is the bitter taste they don’t like. Fresh coffee is never bitter. In fact, fresh coffee is smooth and tasty even undoctored. So what is giving coffee such a bad rap? After some research it a cured to me that the problem is lack of freshness, and coffee that was brewed hours ago. Stale coffee itself is horrible to drink. Stale coffee can leave a bad taste in your mouth, but if you buy coffee that is guaranteed fresh when you brew it then it will taste smooth and refreshing. How does coffee get to the point of being stale?

I had tried tea several times before, but never found it as satisfying to drink as coffee. One of my co-workers started drinking a tea blend that had a wonderful aroma. He said that he was given the premium tea as a gift from his daughter. This particular herbal tea was a loose blend that he placed in a tea leaf ball to steep. He offered to steep me a cup to try. I knew by the time that I finished that cup of tea that I was hooked.

It may appear surprising that drinking something like tea should cause anything at all, yet it is important to know the facts? When you think about what hot drinks you want to have at the morning, or for that matter, at any other time of the day, consider this: caffeine can seriously affect your health. Now it is no secret that some of the tea companies use caffeine in their products; you can of course choose those that don’t - for example, let us take Wissotzky tea: Black tea has 60 - 70 mg of caffeine, Green tea has 15 - 20 mg while Herbal Tea would have no caffeine at all.

I get that question a lot. I don’t know what started me to get on green tea. I can say that I was a heavy drinker of a milked up sugary version of orange pekoe from Red Rose. I would drink about 2 mug fulls almost everyday. I had tried herbal teas before, when they came as part of a dinner package from one of the many local Chinese buffets, but I can’t say that I had any test for it.

I always thought the Starbucks coffee was good, but the Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is extraordinary. It is very expensive at three dollars for a large, but it’s worth it and I try to limit myself to one cup per week.

The Mr. Coffee ice tea maker simply takes the concept of coffee brewing and applies it to tea. Much in the same way that you could brew coffee by the cup using individual steeping bags, you can prepare tea in large batches instead of patiently brewing a fresh cup each time you want some tea.

Have you ever tried a single cup coffee maker? These are a great addition to any coffee-drinking household. When I look at my parents, it’s hard not to notice their love for coffee. Since they’re in their 60s, they prefer a coffee pot drip beverage, over a caramel macchiato.

In the mood for a sticky diet?
The hysteria on low carb diet has brought the onset of several dieting products that are based on low carb approaches. One of the newest products to hit the dieting market are weight loss patches.
Inspired by the success of nicotine patches marketers struck on the idea that weight loss patches may work the same way. Weight loss patches are basically designed for people who forget to take their regular dosage of weight loss supplements or capsules. With weight loss patches, a person will no longer need to take pills as he will have a 24-hour supply of weight loss substance stuck to his skin.
