Everyone is very busy these days and it’s tempting to pop a ready meal into the microwave at the end of a tiring day. Parents are not passing on cooking skills to the next generation and cookery is getting squeezed out of the school curriculum. Consequently, the growing generation don’t know one end of a broccoli from another.
Something has to be done, and it’s an international problem. As the developing economies in Asia grow, more women are going out to work and their traditional shopping and cooking habits are changing. Many are going to supermarkets instead of to their local market stalls. It’s already been reported that Japanese children are becoming overweight. In Western Europe, food trends are changing too. We all think of French and Italian families enjoying a leisurely meal cooked with fresh, local produce. They still do, but there are growing food trends toward processed food and ready meals, as people try to fit in work commitments with life at home.

My husband claims to love my cooking. Im not sure what is wrong with him, but he does. He especially loves when I make Italian dishes, though we both know that I dont really know anything about true Italian cooking. My sauce secret is not really a secret at all.
If anything, my secret is how to get the jar open when it seems to be sealed too tightly. I do make a good lasagna, and spaghetti is always a hit here, but it isnt true Italian cooking, and we all know it. All the same, what matters is that we love it and it works well for us.

There are some places in Chicago that will deliver their pizza to your home. Seriously, even if you live in Florida, you can get Chicago pizza delivered. It won’t come the usual way, and you won’t have to tip the delivery boy. This pizza is sent to your home and you must cook it yourself, but the Chicago Pizza will be authentic, and you can see what all the fuss is about. Because my friend doesn’t live in the city of Chicago, she sometimes brings hers home or has a friend bring it when they visit, and she assures me it is good even when re-warmed or mailed to your home to be cooked.

For preparing filter coffee, one requires a grinder for grinding the coffee beans. There are two types of grinders to choose from. One is a blade coffee grinder and the other is a burr coffee grinder. As the name suggests, the former uses a blade to crush or ground the coffee beans whereas a burr grinder uses a grinding wheel to grind the coffee beans. The disadvantage with the blade type coffee grinder is the variation in the size of the resulting resulting coffee powder. So, the brew quality varies quite a bit with blade type of coffee grinder.

What is your absolute favorite food? I know, I know, it’s so hard to choose just one. When it comes to picking a broader topic, I tend to go with Mexican cuisine, myself. While we all enjoy a variety of great food, we’re certainly fortunate to have such a vast spectrum to pick from. Orlando offers a variety of places to eat, from dining in restaurants overlooking the city and scenic lakes to quaint outdoor cafes and plantation homes. You can find unique restaurant’s experience among places to eat in Orlando. For example – dinner shows. You can have dinner with Disney characters or Al Capone, travel to the Middle Ages or Hawaii, become the detective or the pirate. Of course, no trip is complete without trying a true taste of Florida’s signature dishes – key lime pie and gator tail.

When I was growing up, I loved the flavor of bbq sauce. I ate it on everything from hamburgers to onion rings. Much to my mother’s dismay, bbq sauce graced our dinner table every night. She didn’t really like the fact that I slathered all of her good cooking with bbq sauce, but I guess she figured it was good that I was cleaning my plate even if I drenched my dinner in sauce to do it …

What is your absolute, hands down favorite meal? If I had to guess the answer to this question for anyone I didn’t know, I would guess pizza. It’s typically a sure-win. I don’t care what land your favorite cuisine comes from, chances are you like the Italian pie. Hey, it’s nothing to be ashamed of; we all do. Can you even think of anyone you know that doesn’t like some kind of pizza? The chances are slim. I’ve known many of women and men in my 30 years and all of them eat pizza. Now, the key is to find the best pizza around. For example, have you ever tasted pizza prepared in a wood fired pizza oven? That stuff is utterly amazing. And the best part is you can own a wood fired pizza oven of your own.
I was watching this debate on the Travel channel. It was basically a pizza contest. From New York style to Chicago made to southern style pizza cooked in a wood fired pizza oven, they had it all. However, when it really came down to the nitty gritty, it turns out the greatest pizza competition in the United States is between New York and Chicago. Both states bring completely different pies to the table. While New York pizza makers focus more on a hand tossed chewy crust, Chicago is know for its deep dish pizza. Both even use a wood fired pizza oven at times. Let me tell you, there were some phenomenal looking pizzas on that show. My mouth was watering beyond belief. In fact, I actually got off the couch and ordered a pizza of my own. All in all after viewing the show on amazing pizzas, I would have to go with New York style pizza. I mean come on, how can you not enjoy that gargantuan pie with the chewy crust? It makes an amazing meal any night of the week.

An Article About Cheese Pizza
Most of us are, if not pizza connoisseurs in our own right, pizza lovers. It is (at least in this country, US) one of the top ten foods of choice. While it will do you no good for me to recommend the best, doughiest, richest, cheesiest, or other superlative pizza made in family-owned independent pizzerias locally, here in the SF Bay Area, and since there are already zillions of cheese pizza recipes and reviews online, I thought, if I can do this without bringing on even deeper cravings or making myself prematurely hungry, I thought I would give us a look at the cheese pizza trivia thus far (as of 2006, anyway) …
