You will surely end up paying the price of developing high cholesterol if you cannot resist the temptation to eat foods that are filled with grease.ÂÂ
Most high cholesterol foods are rich in saturated fats and cholesterol and this is bad news for you because it will cause your bad (LDL) cholesterol to rise and that in turn could lead to different types of heart diseases, and even lead to a stroke.ÂÂ
Rather than blindly eating high cholesterol foods, you should opt for foods that are labelled as being free from cholesterol. Though such foods won’t have any big effect on cholesterol levels, they will at least not contain saturated fats that are the main culprit behind cholesterol problems.ÂÂ

If you want the freshest cup of coffee possible, then grinding your own beans is the best way to make it happen. You have two options when it comes to grinders. The blade grinder and the burr coffee grinder. Of these the burr grinder is better. You’ll get a more consistent grind that can be easily set to the coarseness that you like best. If espresso is your drink of choice, you simply set the grinder to how coarse you want it, press a button, and you get a perfect grind every time.

One of the things you can do to start reducing your bad cholesterol is having a healthy breakfast every day. One of the easiest ways to slip soluble fiber into your diet is with a breakfast of oats. Oatmeal or oat bran is a very good way to reduce your bad cholesterol levels. Ten grams a day of soluble fiber is what you should aim for.ÂÂ
Also, some cooking oils such as palm and coconut oil are bad for you. If you’re working at reducing cholesterol then switching to healthier oil will help do this. Olive oil has been talked about for some time now as the healthiest vegetable oil out there. Two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in your daily diet can help to lower bad cholesterol levels while leaving your good cholesterol levels intact.ÂÂ
Walnuts also have the added bonus of keeping your blood vessels healthy and elastic. A handful everyday should do the trick, try and eat them raw.ÂÂ

I work in an industrial kitchen. It’s a restaurant of sorts, making large, multi-course meals. Over the years, I have worked with many different pieces of equipment. I’ve switched from older equipment to new equipment. I’ve purchased Hobart parts and Biro parts for our bigger mixers and grinders. However, my absolute favorite part of the kitchen is the food processor. In fact, I use it constantly and no other cook is allowed near it. I recently read an article written by an author who loves food processors as much as I do. The article is called “10 Great Reasons to Love Your Food Processor. If you have never read this article or if you don’t think food processors are that important, you should read it! It has such great recipe ideas.

Did you know that when you eat any meal there are chances you are introducing cholesterol in your body?ÂÂ
Your body naturally produces cholesterol and does not require any extra cholesterol from the food you eat. Consuming foods high in cholesterol regularly could mean bad news for your body.ÂÂ
When you are looking at your diet and choosing what foods high in cholesterol to cut you should probably look at the content of saturated fat in your food first.ÂÂ
Meat products are a common culprit, containing both high cholesterol and saturated fats. Choose leaner cuts of meat and trim any visible fat before cooking. Switching to poultry such as chicken and turkey in place of steaks and pork can help you avoid foods high in cholesterol. It’s important however that you remove the skin on any poultry dish.ÂÂ

For many years the general perception regarding eggs and cholesterol was that high cholesterol meant risking heart ailments. So, a lot of people are not aware of the fact that people that suffer from heart attacks have the same cholesterol levels as people that have not developed heart diseases.ÂÂ
Through research, it has been established that eggs and cholesterol are actually complimentary since eggs help improve cholesterol (LDL and HDL). This in turn means less risk of suffering heart attacks or strokes.ÂÂ
This is a new way of looking at the issue of eggs and cholesterol so, it is a solution to the dilemma that most people face which is whether to eat eggs or not. However, things have been simplified further, when in this regard the American Heart Association gave the go-ahead for people to eat an egg per day. If you are still worried about eggs and cholesterol, you could take the safe route and eat only the whites of eggs, which do not aggravate the cholesterol level.ÂÂ
