My favorite scone recipe is a traditional English cream scone recipe. It comes out light and tender every time.
Just remember, as with muffins, stirring the scone batter as little as possible will result in a lighter, fluffier scone. Find the recipe here.

This scalloped potato recipe goes with so much. It works really well with ham or meat loaf. I call these the best scalloped potatoes I have made because it is so easy to make the simple sauce and so much better than when I used to just layer the flour, milk and butter and see it bubble up and boil over!Â

You may be mistaken for thinking the baking a cookie is a relative simple thing to do. If so, why do so many people get it so badly wrong? Is it down to preparation, method, types of ingredients, oven temperature or maybe a combination of all these factors?
Making the perfect cookie isn’t difficult providing you have the ingredients and measure to exact quantities. Once you are properly prepared, the only thing that realistically could go wrong is over or under cooking.

Few would argue that Lobster is a dish that costs a small fortune to eat in restaurants. Perhaps, you will eat it on a special occasion, but for most, the delicious taste of any Lobster dish is realistically just too pricey to justify ordering on a regular basis.
Fortunately it no longer has to be like this… If you’re a Lobster virgin, or wish you could afford to eat it more often, then perhaps you should seriously think about cooking your Lobster dish?
Supermarkets have been widening their selection of foods over recent years, and now stock varieties that until recently you were only likely to find at your local fish monger. Lobster is one such food that you should now be able to purchase relatively easily and cheaply too.
To find out how you could be cooking lobster thermador at home make sure you visit Senior Life Over 50 today.

There really is nothing quite like warm apple pie, fresh out of the oven is there? This is my favorite recipe for apple pie and it isn’t fancy. Just plain apple goodness in a tasty crust.
I have adjusted the recipe to use either cinnamon, a mix of cinnamon and nutmeg or just nutmeg, for the real nutmeg fans. Get the recipe here.

Beer can chicken is tasty and fun to make as dinner sits perched on top of your favorite beer can.
Because the chicken sits on top of the beer can, the moisture from the beer below makes the chicken moist and succulent every time. You can grill it or bake it, make it plain or use your favorite rub (one of my favorites is here).

Did you know that most all families have a picky eater that does not want what the rest of the family enjoys when it comes to mealtime? Does this sound familiar to you? If it does, then following these suggestions for dealing with a picky eater kid can make things a lot easier for both of you. It is important that you keep in mind that a child does not need as much to eat as an adult. Therefore, you do not need to force them to eat something, when they are hungry they will eat. Forcing them can cause a lot of different problems and make everyone miserable.
Most all children get enough to eat even if it doesn’t appear so. Therefore, as long as your child is healthy and not underweight don’t worry. Remembering that you are not the only parent that faces this problem will also make it easier. This is the time that children go through a lot of phases including many where they only want to eat certain foods all the time. As long as these foods are healthy, then over a few days your child will have eating a good well-balance diet even if he only eat three or four different types of foods.
