Hors d’oeuvres at expensive functions often serve caviar spread on bread or crackers. This combination is a favorite with champagne at wedding receptions. There is a hierarchy with different varieties being valued above others.
The Beluga kind is very expensive as is Ossetra and Seruga. The Beluga Sturgeon however, is on the list of endangered species and the US has now banned the black caviar from that source found in the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea.
Other sources are in danger of extinction, due to polluted waters and over fishing. One of the most popular varieties, favored by the world’s rulers of the past is the Sterlet. This fish that produces golden colored caviar is in great danger of disappearing from our seas.

For example, some of the most common ingredients in over the counter Chinese herbal remedies can be dangerous when taken with the wrong things. Take ginseng, for example. In most circumstances, taking ginseng is perfectly safe. When it is combined with ephedra, another common ingredient in Chinese herbal remedies, it becomes extremely dangerous. The flavor is the reason I grill meat in the first place. However, I found out that charcoal grills harm the environment. OOPS! The new-age char broil gas grill on the other hand is less pollutant. Furthermore it is healthier not to eat char-grilled meat. Meat grilled over a gas flame is better for you. Go figure! You can have your cake and eat it too. With the current char broil gas grills on the market; you can simply add wood chips that flavor the meat to perfection. It seems we no longer need the classic charcoal grills and they’ve become a thing of the past.

Let’s start with basic oils. Sweet almond oil softens the skin, as do avocado and jojoba oils. Sweet almond oil is good for less mature skin, protective yet light. If you’re older, avocado and jojoba oil are ready to meet the task. Women in the South Pacific have been using avocado oil for centuries, and their skin reflects the care. Avocado oil is high in vitamin E, known to maintain and repair damaged skin. Jojoba oil is the older woman’s best friend. A nightly application renders big results. Jojoba oil penetrates the skin overnight, with a soft and non-greasy result by morning, filling in those wrinkles for a much younger look when used as a daily regimen.
